Russian River Brewing, led by Vinnie Cilurzo, is revered for Pliny the Elder (double IPA) and Pliny the Younger (triple IPA). Cilurzo is credited with inventing the double IPA style. The brewery is also renowned for its Belgian-inspired sour ales and barrel-aged beers.
