Airlock

A one-way valve fitted to the fermenter that allows CO2 to escape during fermentation while preventing outside air, bacteria, and wild yeast from entering. The two main designs are the S-shaped (bubbler) and the three-piece airlock, both filled with sanitizer or vodka as a liquid barrier.
