A very small-scale commercial brewery, generally producing fewer than 3 barrels (93 gallons) per batch. Nano breweries often operate as one-person or family operations with minimal equipment, selling exclusively through a small taproom or local accounts. They represent the lowest barrier to entry into commercial brewing.
