Tropical Stout
Description
A very dark, sweet, fruity, moderately strong ale with smooth roasty flavors without a burnt harshness. Originally brewed for warm climates.
Aroma
Moderate roasted malt aroma with chocolate and coffee notes. Fruity esters providing tropical or dark fruit character. Low hop aroma. Sweetness from residual sugar is evident. Rich and warming for the tropics.
Appearance
Very dark brown to black, 30-40 SRM. Clear. Tan to brown head with good retention.
