Rich malt aroma with dark bread, caramel, and chocolate notes. Roast character ranges from nearly absent to prominent. Low Saaz hop aroma. Clean fermentation. Complex and malt-forward.

Dark copper to very dark brown, 17-35 SRM. Clear with ruby highlights. Off-white to tan head with good retention.
