Descripción
A smooth, clean, pale German lager with a moderately strong malty flavor and a light hop character. Deftly balances strength and drinkability.
Aroma
Moderate to strong, clean Pilsner malt aroma with light honey-like sweetness. Low to moderate herbal or floral hop aroma. Clean lager fermentation. Rich yet refreshing.
Apariencia
Pale to medium gold, 4-7 SRM. Clear and bright. White head with good retention.
Sabor
Moderate to strong malty sweetness with a clean, biscuity, or lightly toasty character. Low to moderate hop bitterness. Dry, clean finish. Balanced and very drinkable.

Historia
Originated in the 1950s as a modern evolution of the traditional Märzen/Oktoberfest style. As the original amber Märzen was gradually replaced at Oktoberfest, this lighter, paler version became the dominant beer served at the Munich Oktoberfest from the 1970s onward.
