Brouwerij Westmalle, at the Abbey of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, defined the Dubbel and Tripel styles that the entire brewing world now emulates. Westmalle Tripel, with its golden color and complex fruity-spicy character, set the template for the style in 1934.
