Brew Kettle

The vessel used to boil wort with hops. Brew kettles range from stovetop stock pots (5-10 gallon homebrews) to multi-barrel stainless steel vessels with tangential whirlpool ports, sight glasses, and thermowells. A good rolling boil requires roughly 100,000 BTU per hour for a 10-gallon batch.
