De Molen, founded in 2004 in a windmill in Bodegraven, is the Netherlands' most acclaimed craft brewery. Their Hel & Verdoemenis (imperial stout) and barrel-aged program rival the world's best. The annual Borefts Beer Festival is a pilgrimage for European craft beer fans.
