Tarihçe

A traditional wheat beer from Leipzig and the Goslar region of Germany, documented as early as the 16th century. The saltiness comes from the naturally minerally Gose spring water. Nearly extinct by the mid-20th century, Bayerischer Bahnhof in Leipzig revived it in 2000. American craft brewers adopted it as a sour base style, adding fruit and other ingredients.
