Contract Brewing

An arrangement where a brand owner (the 'contract' or 'virtual' brewer) hires an existing brewery to produce beer according to their recipe and specifications. Contract brewing allows brands to enter the market without capital investment in facilities, though it can raise authenticity concerns among craft beer purists.
