Lịch sử

The term 'barleywine' was first used by Bass Brewery in England around 1903 for their Bass No. 1 Barley Wine. Developed from the tradition of strong October ales and stocks. Thomas Hardy's Ale (brewed since 1968, designed to be aged) is a landmark. The style was revived and popularized by American craft brewers alongside the American Barleywine.
