A strong, malty, fruity wheat beer combining the best malt and yeast flavors of a Weissbier with the rich maltiness, strength, and body of a Doppelbock.

Hương thơm

Rich Weizen yeast character with pronounced banana, clove, and vanilla aromas. Strong malt backbone with bready, caramel, and chocolate notes from the bock strength. Noticeable alcohol warmth. Complex and enticing.

Gold to very dark brown, depending on base style. Hazy from yeast. Dense, creamy head with excellent retention.

Rich banana, clove, and vanilla from Weizen yeast. Strong malt backbone with caramel, bread, chocolate. Low hop bitterness. Semi-sweet finish with alcohol warmth. Complex and satisfying.

Lịch sử

A Bavarian creation combining the wheat beer tradition with the Bock's strength tradition. Schneider Weisse's Aventinus (1907) is the original Weizenbock and remains the defining example. Developed by Georg Schneider II by applying wheat brewing techniques to a strong beer format.
